Why Emerson?
My business is named for my grandfather, Emerson Raymond Moseley. Story has it that when his parents introduced him to his grandfather as Raymond Moseley, he felt that was much too simple of a name for someone who would achieve such greatness. With Ralph Waldo Emerson being a contemporary of the day, they added “Emerson” as his first name. I’m glad they did because I believe he grew into the name and the expectations his family had for him. His name may not be a household name for anyone else in the world, but in my world, he was great.
